Overheating issues in state-of-the-art electronics have proven to be a major hindrance to the future development of increasingly power-efficient electronic devices. This thesis investigates the effectiveness of a highly wetting-tunable graphene nanoplatelet coating to bring about a water droplet-based enhanced evaporative cooling of a surface heated to the operating temperature of modern chipsets. The extraordinarily high effectiveness of the material found through experimentation in this thesis envisions its application as a thermal management solution for electronics in the future.
