This thesis tackles the global antibiotic resistance crisis through the investigation of a series of bioactive triazole molecules that have been complexed with bismuth, rhenium, and gallium. These metal complexes are then evaluated for their toxicity, luminescence, and reactivity for their potential use as antibacterials, antifungals and diagnostic imaging agents.
