This qualitative research study examines the sociocultural identity development of Saudi third culture kids living and studying in Australia. The study focuses on the challenges these children face in adapting to their host culture, including school, relationships, and navigating their Islamic and cultural identities. Four themes emerged: prioritising connections to Saudi heritage, experiencing culture shock from interactions with Australian society, recognising Victoria's multicultural society as supportive of faith practises, and blending Saudi cultural values with Australian values. The findings suggest that schools and educational policymakers can improve the learning needs of Saudi TCKs.
