Exploring Early Childhood Development, Neighborhood Effects and Social Capital

This thesis studies social interactions within the contexts of education and immigration, from a microeconomic perspective. It consists of three studies, leveraging diverse data types and methodologies. This thesis focuses on the role of social surroundings in human capital formation at early stage, and also focuses on the impact of immigration on social capital.
