Exploration of Self-Regulatory Behaviours of Near-Peer Teachers: A Social Cognitive Perspective

This study, using a survey and interviews examined the relationship between students approaches to learning and how they apply that to teach a peer. This is an under-researched area in the nursing teaching literature and this study contributes to the existing knowledge of peer teaching in health professional programs.
This study has highlighted the need to support undergraduate nursing students in their roles as teachers, once they graduate.
