Experimental and Computational Modelling in Cardiology

thesis
posted on 2025-08-13, 12:16 authored by Michael Seman
To further our understanding of cardivascular disease sophisticated modelling approaches are increasingly being used as a platform to investigate normal and disease states. These simulation tools provide new opportunities to gain insights into the processes that may otherwise be difficult, or even impossible, to attain in human or animal studies. This thesis presents four distinct and innovative modelling approaches, which were created to study the cardiovascular system or cardiovascular disease.
