The threat of traditional fossil fuel depletion and their impact on the environment caused an increased interest in the topic of renewable fuels. Our team, led by Dr. Manh-Vu Tran, dedicated our time and effort to understanding the combustion behavior of cleaner fuels. Our goal was to investigate how hydrogen blended biogas mixtures can become one of the highly effective alternative fuels. We also investigated the potential of unique material, known as carbon nanotubes, as the fuel additive to biodiesel. While much work is still needed in this research area, the future of clean fuels has very promising potential.
