Equation of State effects in Core-Collapse Supernovae

The state of matter at extreme densities remains highly uncertain. Exploding stars provide the extraordinary conditions necessary to access this fascinating high-energy regime. Throughout this thesis, we will review and analyse methods for using the Core-Collapse Supernova mechanism as a future laboratory to study matter at and above multiple times nuclear saturation density.
