Epidemiology, natural history and predictors of outcomes in patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis in Australia

thesis
posted on 2024-11-02, 01:19 authored by Natassia Pinpin Tan
This thesis examines the epidemiology, natural history, and patient-reported outcomes of a rare and poorly understood liver disease, primary sclerosing cholangitis, in Australia. It also shows how regular surveillance imaging may benefit such patients, and how novel imaging scores could assist with diagnosing advanced liver fibrosis and risk stratification in this cohort of patients.
