Enhanced thermophysical properties of carbon nanomaterials synthesized via liquid-phase pulsed laser ablation

thesis

Nanofluid is a fluid containing exceedingly small fragments of a material known as nanoparticles. These nanoparticles serve as an additive to improve the cooling performance of a fluid. Existing production methods mainly focus on using chemical methods to produce these nanoparticles, containing harmful and toxic materials. This thesis examines a chemical-free production method by illuminating the surface of a target material with a powerful beam of light.
