This thesis presents an examination of the effects of two distinct leadership styles, abusive supervision and servant leadership, on a range of leader wellbeing outcomes. The thesis reviews current research into both leadership styles and other variables included in the study. The findings include positive wellbeing outcomes for servant leadership, and both positive and negative wellbeing outcomes for abusive supervision. The results are presented and limitations and directions for future research are discussed.
