Enabling local actions for the Sustainable Development Goals

thesis
posted on 2023-07-23, 11:20 authored by DIANTY NINGRUM
This thesis primarily discusses how a global sustainability agenda can work at the local level. This thesis specifically looks at the localisation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of interlinked goals formulated by the United Nations to address global challenges. By offering a more comprehensive picture of the processes and enablers of local SDG actions, this thesis reveals the diversity of the ways that the SDGs can bring impact at the local level and how global-to-local sustainability governance can be enacted
