Social inclusion, access, participation and engagement, are key to social and learning success in early childhood. Supporting engagement by children and families experiencing vulnerability and disadvantaged can transform lives. This study explores the perspectives of Early Childhood Educators and Professionals (ECEPs) and the families they support. Building respectful, empathetic, collaborative relationships that support educational engagement by children and their families experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage is crucial as effective family engagement is the key to early years learning success.
