Efficacy of Inhibitory Control Enhancement Strategies

thesis
posted on 2022-11-30, 06:41 authored by TERESA WULANDARI
This thesis examines the efficacy of three enhancement strategies to improve inhibition in a healthy population. The three strategies include physical exercise, brain stimulation and brain training. Contrary to predicted, this thesis found no evidence of inhibition benefits following the strategies. However, this thesis offers critical perspectives on what may underpin the current findings and how to maximise the utilisation of these strategies as a future direction.
