The thesis titled “Essays on Energy, Inequality and Wellbeing” contains three self-contained essays that that relate to the inequality and wellbeing of the low-income individuals in general. The first essay is about the effect on income inequality on CO2 emissions for the G7 countries. The second essay examines the efficacy of a government-initiated price comparator website to attain fair retail electricity prices. The third essay is about the effect of inward remittances on the Wellbeing of the low-income and lower-middle income countries.
