Dynamic Analysis of Heavy-Duty Trailers

To ultimately generate simulated load spectrums for fatigue analysis, dynamic analysis of heavy-duty trailers were developed in this study. Trailer models were contructed according to real commercial trailer designs and simulated to run under different driving scenarios and road conditions in a multibody dynamic simulation software ADAMS/CAR. Linear regression based machine learning approaches were then applied to the simulations results in order to make accurate predictions and investigate relationship between factors.
