Discrete Particle Simulation for Mixing and Scale-up of Different Mixers

This thesis employs GPU-based DEM to simulate the mixing and scale-up of different mixers. It identifies the effect of scale-up on the microscopic parameters and operation performances. It also establishes the mechanism of scale-up for a mixing process and develops a practical method to predict the mixing performances during scale-up for different mixers.
