thesis
posted on 2023-10-31, 00:52 authored by KE XIN LEE
This thesis explores the dietary and lifestyle risk factors associated with obesity among young adults, particularly tertiary students. The study utilizes mixed-methods, including an online survey and focus group discussions. The results indicate that dietary restraint , low vegetables intake and increased screen time are major risk factors for obesity in this population. The findings highlight the need for interventions that promote healthy eating behavior and active lifestyle among young adults to prevent obesity and its associated health risks. Overall, this study provides valuable insights for public health policies aimed at reducing obesity prevalence among young adults.
