Industry 4.0 is a significant transformation in the way products are produced through the digitisation of manufacturing. Additive manufacturing is one such process which is utilised for its plethora of benefits in producing net-shape products. This thesis designs and develops a new aluminium alloy that is specifically tailored for additive manufacturing with unique properties.
