Development of Organocatalytic Photoredox and Electron Donor-Acceptor Complex Reactions for Complex Molecules Synthesis

One of the most important tasks for organic chemists is disclosing an efficient and simple approach to forming new bonds. Light is an unlimited, sustainable and green energy source, which can be harnessed to initiate variety of chemical reactions without causing any waste. My PhD research was targeting new bond formation induced by visible light to provide a valuable and environmental-friendly synthetic toolbox for pharmaceutical and material targets synthesis.
