This thesis focus on development of molybdenum trioxide, MoO3-based, photoanode with incorporation of Pt as co-catalyst, potassium cations working electrolyte, and formation of heterojunction with bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) and titanium oxide (TiO2) to achieve water molecules oxidation, as well as self-photorechargeability. If this research idea is successfully developed, the hydrogen gases can be produced in 24 hours without interruption in real industrial application.
