Development of Hierarchical Carbon Nanotube-Glass Fibre Composites

thesis
posted on 2021-02-24, 05:58 authored by GUIXIANG ZHAO
This thesis investigates a flame synthesis method that can be utilised to in situ grow and coat carbon nanotubes onto glass fibres to generate hierarchical reinforcement. The hierarchical reinforcement can be applied to both traditional composites fabrication and additive manufacturing to enhance the mechanical and functional performances of the produced composite materials.
