Propolis, also called bee glue, is an essential material in forming beehives. It’s a complex mixture of plant fluids, beeswax, and bees’ natural enzymes — and it plays a vital role in helping keep beehives intact. Propolis is an excellent source of biologically active compounds which function as antioxidants. However, propolis in its raw harvested form is full of impurities like wax and debris. In this industrial project, we turn raw, sticky, inedible propolis into edible liquid and powder forms for easy administration, handling and storage.
