Cognitive impairment in idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is poorly understood. This thesis demonstrates cognitive impairment in patients with IIH that were persistent for up to six months following diagnosis and unrelated to most clinical features, which supports the inclusion of cognitive monitoring in comprehensive IIH management.
