DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF MULTIMEDIA RESOURCES FOR THE TEACHING OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES

This thesis describes the development and implementation of online learning activities for medical, biomedical and science students and evaluate their effectiveness against more traditional teaching styles. We showed that online learning activities designed with reference to appropriate instructional frameworks are as equally, if not more, effective as traditional methods for students' learning of basic biomedical concepts.
