This work develops advanced nanomaterials based on peptide nanotubes. These studies establish new computational modelling and synthetic chemistry methods for novel nanotube materials; new approaches for nanotube functionalisation; and establish the physical factors that contribute to nanotube stability. This work will underpin the future development of peptide nanotubes as biocompatible sensors and drug delivery devices.
