thesis
posted on 2017-11-01, 23:34 authored by TIMOTHY JAMES ALVES
This research examines contemporary artworks that depict people involved in public protests. The argument is twofold; first that a number of significant artists have produced artworks engaging with the subject matter of protest, and second that these artworks offer a distinctive approach to discussing the political characteristics of art today.
