This thesis analyses the use of registries in patients diagnosed with cancer of the lining of the kidneys and ureter and creates an online registry to efficiently analyse how patients are treated, their outcomes and where improvements in care are possible. It uses the developed registry to analyse a large cohort of patients who were previously diagnosed with this cancer to determine how they were evaluated and treated and if improvements to care are possible. It goes on to initiate the registry use across multiple health sites in Australia to better understand the patterns of care.
