Characterisation and evaluation of pro-resolving G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) in resolution of inflammation

This thesis examines the actions of a special set of proteins in our body, called GPCRs, which play an essential role in resolving inflammation in our body. It systematically profiles the quantity of the GPCRs on the immune cells and their interaction with other agents in the cells. The results of this thesis may be of help in targeting the GPCRs to develop new drugs for treating inflammatory diseases.
