This thesis examines the behaviour of foamed bitumen stabilised road pavements through laboratory and field testing. Based on the experimental observations, it develops analytical procedures for more rational foamed bitumen pavement design. The thesis highlights that new design method is superior to existing approaches since it can transfer the laboratory results to the filed behaviour considering both environmental and traffic load conditions.
