BrIM-based Structural Life Cycle Assessment of Bridges Incorporating Finite Element Analysis and Real-Time Sensor Measurements

The focus of infrastructural engineering is gradually shifting from design and construction towards health monitoring and maintenance. This thesis develops a versatile asset management tool through 3D bridge information modelling (BrIM), to effectively assess the health condition of bridges in real time for better bridge management.
