Biomimetic Construction of Metal-organic Framework Nanochannels for Ion Transport Promotion
thesis

This thesis investigates the ion transport and salinity gradient energy conversion performance of metal-organic framework (MOF) nanochannels. It develops multi-dimensional, hierarchical, multifunctional MOF nanochannels biomimetically. The resarch improves the ion transport and selectivity of biomimetic MOF nanochannels by regulating MOF composition, pore structure, surface charge and wettability, and also reveals the ion transport mechanisms. The thesis creates new knowledge in the fields of nanofluidics and clean energy.
