This thesis examines the effects of a robot tutor compared to a human tutor on the learning experiences of university students. It suggests that the introduction of a robot tutor positively affects students' concentration, perception of time and feeling of reward, but imposes a more rigid lesson and interaction which negatively impacts their sense of control, spontaneity of action and self-consciousness.
