Anzac Spaces: the Role of Audience and Space in the Creation and Recreation of Anzac

A thesis using new methods to explain how the Anzac myth can be used by so people across time and space. Uses historical case studies to demonstrate that Anzac is actually a negotiation. While they are constrained by tradition, speakers and audiences suggest and modify the meaning of each narrative of Anzac in order to make it meaningful for them.
