The prevalence of tobacco smoking as a preventable cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide is widely acknowledged, with numerous diseases being linked to this well-known risk factor. This thesis generates evidence to support a public policymaker for smoking cessation programs in Thailand, using real-world data on the program's effectiveness and available medication options. This thesis presents strong evidence in favor of incorporating multidisciplinary smoking cessation clinics into the universal healthcare benefit package.
