An Aspirational Body

thesis
posted on 2020-04-23, 23:47 authored by Tim Woodward
This thesis investigates the permeable boundaries of the human body. In order to do this, it focuses on the polysemous word 'aspiration', accounting for alternate meanings in Scientific and Ordinary Language. Embracing the unstable conditions of polysemous language within my creative practice, this research project generates images and metaphors of an 'aspirational body' through the production of artworks.
