Amine-based coordination polymers: design, synthesis, and application

thesis
posted on 2024-03-25, 23:20 authored by JADE NADINE SIOCK ANG
This thesis investigates the synthesis, structure, and application of different amine-based coordination polymers, focusing on certain cyclic core amine ligands. The formation of these materials revealed distinct structural motifs with potential applications in different fields such as magnetism, catalysis, and chemical sensing. The study further extends to a cobalt-based coordination polymer used as a pre-catalyst for hydrogen energy production. Additionally, a cadmium-based coordination polymer demonstrates effective separation of precious metals in e-waste processing conditions.
