Advancing Women in Healthcare Leadership: An Evidence Base for Organisational Change

thesis
posted on 2023-03-09, 00:46 authored by MARIAM MOUSA
Organisational support for women in healthcare leadership has not been prioritised, placing the onus of responsibility for career advancement on individuals, missing the opportunity to address structural, cultural and systems level barriers that prevent change. As a result, leadership in healthcare continues to be inequitable. The aim of this PhD is to generate a body of evidence on evidence-based interventions and strategies that can be implemented by organisations to address ingrained stuctural barriers and deliver systemic change.
