This thesis investigates approaches to convert CO₂, a significant greenhouse gas, into fuels and chemicals, addressing sustainability and climate change challenges. The research focuses on greener ethylene carbonate production by optimizing catalytic designs through morphology control of nanomaterials, achieving improved yields. Innovative 3D-printed catalysts and water extraction strategies enhanced efficiency, though economic viability remains a challenge. Methane production utilized advanced high-entropy alloy catalytic materials, demonstrating enhanced stability and performance, while methanol synthesis incorporated kinetic modeling to bridge laboratory findings with industrial-scale applications. These advancements provide a robust foundation for scalable and sustainable CO₂ utilization technologies.
