This research involves an examination into the interrelated dynamics that encompass the ways in which al Qaeda has refashioned itself, but also the pressures that restrain adaptability. Moreover, this research engages with wider research questions based around the relationship between ideology and strategy and how innovations are transferred across a terrorist network.
