This thesis examines how injustice towards the intellectually disabled can be challenged and argues that the current literature on social change cannot be straightforwardly applied. I discuss how the barriers intellectual disability presents can be overcome and argue that a focus on intellectual disability reveals the crucial role virtue plays within social movements.
