This thesis compared the efficacy of three approaches to training the use of a smartphone app as a memory aid in individuals with a brain injury. It shows that there are no differences between the approaches after one training session and highlights other dimensions (e.g., smartphone use confidence) where the approaches may have differential effects. This is thesis also provides practical recommendations for the implementation of smartphone training in clinical practice for individuals with acquired brain injury.
