Sexual racism is linked to poor life and health outcomes for overseas-born Asian-born MSM. However, we do not fully understand many of these associations. This thesis develops current understandings of sexual racism by looking at its long-term impacts and individual responses to it. It also engages with the broader question of how intimate racism figures into more ‘mainstream’ forms of racial discrimination.
