thesis
posted on 2022-07-13, 10:39 authored by ABKAR AHMED ALI SAYAD

This thesis provided a proof-of-concept technology comprising of microfluidic and biosensor for differentiating acute Ischemic and intracerebral Hemorrhagic strokes by detecting brain biomarker "Glial fibrillary acidic protein" in whole blood samples obtained from stroke patients." This technology has the potential to be employed in the point-of-care setting at ambulances, clinics, hospitals, anywhere, anytime where stroke classification is required for rapid and appropriate treatment to save and improve patient lives.
