Many efforts have been made to improve current disease treatment, one of which uses a nano-carrier to help deliver an already-established drug. This thesis aimed to develop a platform of cylindrical shape polymeric nano-carrier using a simple and straightforward method of synthesis and purification. The produced polymeric nano-carriers demonstrated excellent physicochemical characteristics for use in biomedical application. In the pre-clinical studies in rodents they showed extended blood circulation, low accumulation in healthy organs and high disposition in tumour tissue. These promising results suggest the potency of our bottle-brush polymer as a new drug delivery carrier candidate for clinical application.
