thesis

MicroRNAs are small molecules which are produced by cells and help to ensure that cells and organs in the body function properly. This thesis examines the levels of microRNAs in different cell types and compares their levels between from healthy and diseased biological samples, with a particular focus on how small changes in the building blocks of those microRNAs can reflect human health and disease.
