HRI Methodology Guideline - Life Cycle Design Tool
This is a tool for designing a human-robot interaction (HRI) research study. To use it, download "HRI Study Methodology Guidelines.html" and open it in your browser of choice. This tool is an offline webpage, i.e., data entered via this webpage is only stored locally and will not be accessed or reviewed by the research team in any way.
This tool provides a diagram of the individual steps during the life cycle of an HRI research study. There are brief descriptions of each step and associated guidelines on experimental methodologies. It also allows a user to enter details regarding their own research study and save this overview locally.
This tool accompanies the book: "Experimental Methodology for Human-Robot Interaction: Guidelines and Case Studies for Human-Centred and Ethical Robotics Research". Leimin Tian, Tina LY Wu, Nicole L Robinson, Pamela Carreno-Medrano, Wesley P Chan, Maram Sakr, Elahe Abdi, Elizabeth A Croft, and Dana Kulić. 2025 (in production). CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group.
