Malaysia has shown progress in enhancing access to clean water, although challenges remain in water governance. The findings from a collaborative study conducted in 2022 by Monash University Malaysia, WWF Malaysia, and WaterEd Association shed light on key aspects: respondents' water knowledge, attitudes towards water, and water-related behaviours. This report highlights the significance of improving water literacy, raising awareness about ecological protection, implementing water-saving practices, and promoting public involvement in sustainability initiatives. It is crucial to have informed and involved individuals to create a society sustaining water resources for both present and future populations.
