The Design Study was commissioned by the Tasman Council and Tasmania Parks and Wildlife. The study investigates the opportunities and potentials of new public spaces in nominated locations throughout the Tasman Peninsula. The study considers and articulates how place-responsive contemporary architectural design ideas can productively balance the desire to build and diversify the tourism offering on the Tasman Peninsula, with the ongoing needs of local residents.
