This research was conducted in Malaysia. The report documents the findings of a survey of 1063 Malaysians. The aim of the study was to understand levels of concern and action on climate change in Malaysia. It is the first time a survey as such has been conducted in Malaysia to gauge insight into 1) policy support, belief and motivation, 2) individual action and willingness to change, 3) media preference and trust, and 4) Malaysian response to climate change and climate change policy. The survey provides strong national and regional level snapshots relevant to a range of policy areas and establishes a baseline for future comparisons of community attitudes to climate change.
